Breed Information

Alskyrian - Pernese - Reririan - Elruvian - Canese - Zarish - Mutts

There are five breeds of winged wolves known. Six, if you include the unknown breed that is in resident here. Two are telepathic types, three are magical. Often, there is little to physically tell if a wolf is a certain breed. Other times the traits a very obvious such as color, eye color, or markings. Alskyrian, Pernese, and Reririan wolves tend to have a more "natural" appearance while the others tend to have bright colors or odd patterns to there coat. So far, only the unknown breed that I have yet to name has odd colors for the eyes as well as markings and coloration.

Names are another way to tell a wolf apart. Alskyrian and Pernese wolves tend to have a single name. If they bond they may take there bond's last name or a variation of their first name. Thus Kyzik choose Navin as a last name, which is a shortened form of his bonds name, N'vin (Nelavin). Or, they may choose to use the full name. Elruvian and Canese choose names like StormWatcher, IceShadow, or DarkMage. It's more like a title. Reririan wolves have two methods and the one I introduced first was where they took the first name of there mother or father. However, they may just choose the last name of there father or mother depending on their gender. The unknown species have last names that are also titles but in different languages. There is no rhyme or reason for that.

All wolves stand between two to three and a half feet tall to the shoulders and have large wings that fold along their sides just like a birds. Most are large and long, like a hawk or eagle. Some are more broad then long, like an owls. Alskyrian and Pernese wolves communicate with there T-Power, broadcasting there thoughts to be heard by those around them "out loud". Reririan, Elruvian, Canese, and the unknown breed can all form words with there mouths and have an accent because of it.

A genetic-like code is futuristic for these guys, which will help me, at least, determine features and powers for mixed-breeds. Once I've figured that out, that information will be right here...replacing this paragraph. XD
